Tiger Wallah

India 1960s, the good, the bad and the ugly as seen through the eyes and lives of four youth.
I found this to be an easy book to read. The story of youths and their development to young adults in India, the trials that they faced and ultimately how they resolved those trials was very entertaining. The really interesting thing was that I had no idea of India’s culture until I read this book. But, throughout the book, I felt like I was being immersed into the story, almost as if I was part of the story.  I would highly recommend this book as informative and entertaining reading with a storyline that is easy to follow. I especially liked how the author had each character describe the events individually, but yet have the storyline clearly defined throughout the book.  I give it an A+.

Great read! The detail and insight into the culture from an Eastern-Western hybrid perspective brings depth to the story. I appreciated the character thought development which helped me connect to the experience.
